Hi. This is very interesting software to correct intonation. Much easier on an electric. I believe StewMac has a bridge setup mechanism for us acoustic guys. Here's a YouTube Video link at a site. http://www.guitarbuilding.org/sound-card-scope-software-setup-and-use/ Here's the software creators site. http://www.zeitnitz.eu/scope_en Free for education or personal use. $50 for commercial license. Enjoy! |

Just my opinion -- maybe I am missing something? But setting intonation is a pretty simple process (if you know what to do) with a good/accurate electronic tuner why would one need this complicated software based device? |

Interesting indeed. I just don't see how it could be in any way useful. There's nothing I saw in that demonstration which could improve accuracy or efficiency of setting intonation compared to a variety of traditional methods. To the contrary, I saw a much more convoluted and time consuming method which might at best get you the same results much more quickly and easily gained with a conventional tuner. It's an interesting approach, but I can't see any way in which it could be of improved usefulness or accuracy. Just seems to complicate a process without adding any benefit. |

Not to mention, there are so many good tuning apps for smartphones these days. |
